The Slovenian language course has a new space at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. A professor’s office and one classroom for the Slovenian language were officially opened in the presence of the Ambassador of Slovenia to Serbia and other distinguished guests on October 20th, 2011. The renovation of the lower ground premises, an important project undertaken at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade with   a significant involvement of the Faculty management, has greeted the Slovenian language course with really nice news. On the occasion of the 50th birthday of the Department of Russian language and literature, the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad organized an inter-departmental conference ‘Reach and Perspective of the Development of Slavic Studies’ on September 17th, 2011.
